A little bit about me
I’m passionate about the “how-to” of fundraising, shaped by my own journey from annual giving to frontline fundraising and my research on discovery work best practices. Today, I use these insights to train development officers and support teams onboarding new or early-career fundraisers.
Since starting as a gift officer at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in 2018, I’ve grown into a leadership role coaching a team focused on discovery, donor retention at the base of the giving pyramid, and stair-stepping giving to build major gift portfolios — while also managing a small portfolio myself.
Before CU Anschutz, I led Cleveland Clinic’s direct mail program, driving a shift toward pipeline development and impact reporting. I began my career at The Ohio State University (Go Bucks!) in marketing and advancement after graduating in 2012.
Outside of work, I love being active—whether exploring the mountains solo or with my family. You’ll also find me cooking healthy meals, riding my bike, and embracing all things mental and physical wellness. I’m a big fan of Taylor Swift, Harry Potter, and the occasional glass of red wine. Huge thanks to my husband, our rescue dog, and our son for sharing this adventure with me.
